About Us

This is the extension service arm of the University that implements programs and activities ranging from outreach to developmental forms. It engages the university鈥檚 faculty, non-teaching staff, students, and alumni in volunteer services through the extension of support to, for and with marginalized sectors/communities in terms of material, technical, educational, service learning, as well as values formation.

How to Volunteer?

Be an active community extensionist by supporting and/or engaging in OCES activities.You may get involved by:

1. Becoming a donor;
2. Serving as a facilitator of an activity or a session and/or a resource person on a given field;
3. Extending assistance in:
   1. Community organizing and community education works, field work, relief operations, and rehabilitative works, and
   2. Provide technical assistance in areas such as engineering works, health and wellness, business and entrepreneurship, values formation, assistance to small and medium entrepreneurs (SMEs), psychology, hospitality management, literacy, information technology, peace and order advocacies, values formation, catechetical services, and other disciplined鈥揵ased programs.

You can channel your volunteer services and donations with some of these programs:

Angel Cares for 柠檬导航 Scholars and Students

Omnibus Program for Scholarship Assistance and other Auxiliary Services to Students

1. Share a Meal (provision of stubs for set meals);
2. Share a Wing/Adopt a Scholar (financial subsidy for tuition and other fees);
3. H@UweConnect (addresses connectivity needs that includes share a gadget, share a Wi-Fi, and share a load);
4. In Their Shoes (Bread of Angels 鈥� community pantry or soup kitchen, Sole Mates 鈥� school shoes donation, A Walk with an Angel 鈥� psycho-social and spiritual assistance);
5. Project 1.1.1(1,000 alumni to donate 1,000 to raise 1,000,000 to aid scholarship needs and related auxiliary services to deserving financially challenged Angelites.);
6. Catechetical Program with partner parishes and schools;
7. 柠檬导航-SHAPE (柠檬导航鈥檚 Support to Public School Education) through reading, numeracy, ICT, feeding, values formation, engineering works, and other related trainings;
8. 柠檬导航REACH 鈥� donation for disaster affected areas and other marginalized sectors;
9. Support in terms of Training, Formation, Advocacies, and Skill Building for indigenous peoples (IPs), persons deprived of liberty (PDLs), children with special needs/person with disabilities (PWDs), women, and youth, and
10. Support to parishes and local government units (LGUs) in their programs and services.

The community programs and services are facilitated through the technical, material, and financial support of our students, employees, partners and other donors. We believe that each one has something to share, including the communities or sectors being served. Through our shared actions, we can help improve the lives of Filipino families.

• Underserved barangays in Angeles and Pampanga
• Children / persons with disabilities
• Inmates and children in critical / vulnerable circumstances
• Indigenous peoples (IPs), senior citizens and the youth
• GOs, NGOs and parishes that may request services to complement their programs for particular sectors or communities
